About Pack 1980

Cub Scout Pack 1980 in Readington N.J. is part of the Washington Crossing Council of Boy Scouts of America, in the Hunterdon Arrowhead District.

Readington Reformed Church is our chartering organization and our home for many of our pack meetings.

Most of our scouts attend Whitehouse Elementary and Holland Brook Schools, plus we are happy to welcome all boys and girls in the area who are interested in joining Cub Scouts!

Our Pack has around 15 - 20 Cub Scouts in Kindergarten through fifth grades, and many dedicated parent volunteers.

Pack 1980 strives to teach children the values of scouting through monthly den meetings, pack meetings, and ongoing community service projects.  Scouting teaches confidence, belonging, the value of family, social skills, moral and ethical decision making, leadership skills, and citizenship.

You have probably seen scouts from our pack in the community as we have participated in annual events such as the Readington Memorial Day Parade, BSA door-to-door Popcorn fundraising, Scouting for Food at Bishops IGA, United Way Tools 4 School Stuff the Bus collections, and the RTJBL Opening Day Flag Ceremony.
